I am cataloging your new book, Homicide in hardcover for our library. I need to establish a name heading for you. There is another Kate Carlisle listed in the Library of Congress name authority file who has written a book in Italian. I need a way to separately identify you in the catalog. Could you send me your birth date? I promise that it will only appear in our catalog.
