Homicide in Hardcover - First sightings!

Here are the first sightings of Homicide in Hardcover!! I know I'm a geek for showing all the pics, but hey, it's my first time. :-)

Here's what Homicide in Hardcover looks like on the bookshelf at my local Borders in LA!!

And now I'm holding it in my hot little hands.

And here's my friend Julie, holding her very own copy.

Silver James sent me these pics from Oklahoma City! This one's from the Barnes and Noble on N. May Avenue...

...and this one on the right was taken at the Borders on Northwest Expressway.

You might've noticed that the shelf is empty. I think Silver got the last copy. But the clerk said they'd be re-ordering. Yeah!

More pics tomorrow!

Just wanted to say congrats!!
And by the way, the former teacher in me just can't let this pass; the last line in your bio has a typo (i.e. "become" should be "became")

Anyway, lots of luck with the new book.

Hi Cheri, thanks! Yes, it was definitely an "awwww, isn't it cute" moment!

I hate to be the one to tell you, Julie, but your head just ends there. Hee hee hee. Sorry. Really, it must've been photographer error. Who's the loser who took that picture, anyway? (Kate's whistling, looking nonchalant as she walks away quickly!)

Carole, thanks! And drat!! I hate typos! It's my fault, not my brilliant web designer's. Sigh. Should've had a teacher proof it. :-)

Awwwww. Careful now, Kate and Jen. I won't be able to get my head through the door!

You are very welcome. I love Brooklyn, btw. But I love her family more! *teehee* Thank goodness they were named for cities and not some new age mumbo-jumbo like Moon Dawn, Desert Rain, or Ocean Wave. *looks totally serious*

Spoiler alert - it was Miss Plum in the library with the help of Colonel Mustard. *ducks*

LOL Silver! Thanks so much! I'm glad you like the family names. Of course, I haven't revealed her middle name yet. Hee hee!

*also ducking!*

Mary Lou just called and said your book is #34 on The NY Times list!

I checked it out and saw it for myself.

Way to go!
